Involvement

Business Council

Spring 2017-Present

Business Council serves as the liaison between staff, students, and professors within the College of Business. Although I have been on Business Council for a short time, I dived into activities. I served on the New Member Relations committee and assisted in new member interviews. I volunteered at several Business Council and College of Business events to help strengthen our presence. I was voted as our fall 2017 Events Chair and enjoyed planning events during the 2017-2018 academic year.

Student Admissions Representative (STAR), Member

Spring 2017- Present

Student Admissions Representatives or better known on campus as STARS are the first smiles you see when touring Iowa State University. I proudly wear my smile on every campus tour I give to prospective students and their parents. Not only are the STARS responsible for campus tours, we are crucial in Experience Iowa State throughout both the fall and spring semester. I enjoy networking with my fellow STARS every other week at our bi-weekly meetings.

Collegiate Women in Business, Member

Fall 2015-Present

CWIB is a student lead organization designed to inspire, empower, and develop women pursuing a career in business. Our goal is to build a sense of achievement and confidence that will carry with members into the future. The group is open to all female majors and minors in the College of Business. I attend weekly meetings religiously, which involves networking with members,  assisting with the Young Women in Business Conferences, and other leadership building activities.
